When: Mondays from 7-9pm beginning September 22nd
Duration: 12 weekly meetings
Cost: $100/session
What: An intentional therapy support group for women who have experienced betrayal in their relationships. Disorientation, confusion, devastation, and deep grief are common experiences women face when porn, affairs, addiction, lying, and other forms of betrayal are discovered or disclosed. Led by Anne Jansen, LPC and Haley Joseph, artist and betrayal trauma survivor, this group will combine traditional group therapuetic techniques and art as an expression of pain AND the beauty that is possible as we heal in community with others. If you are looking for a space to have your story held with gentleness and compassion, as well as a place to heal, this group may be for you.

These are small groups of men and women who share their stories and learn to tell their stories more truly. Communities are led by skilled clinicians who are trained in group psychotherapy, the principles of Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Christian Spiritual Formation.
Group Therapy At The Dwelling Place
I have had the great privilege of training with and working for Dr. Curt Thompson and his team at New Story Behavioral Health over the past 3 years. In my work with them, I have led Confessional Community Intensives in Washington DC and am offering clinician training for therapists around the U.S. who desire to practice this model of group therapy.
Bringing this model of therapy to the Grand Rapids, Michigan area is my biggest dream. I have witnessed first hand the life-changing transformation that can happen through group therapy.
At The Dwelling Place, time-limited Confessional Communities and other therapy related groups are
